Kybalion
In the depths of a lucid nightmare Kybalion (You) encounters an Immortal Alchemist who guides him into the depths of his subconscious where he discovers a crucible for the souls Ascension.

To endure the trials of The Immortal Alchemist and secure your souls Ascension you must master a range of abilities; NOTE controls are fully customizable via the control options menu and thus are not listed below*

FOCUS - Allows you to focus your vision allowing for easier interactions with Hidden Scrolls at a distance, identifying symbols and helps to reveal hidden platforms.

SPRINT - moves quickly at the expense of stamina - allows you to Jump Further when Held JUMP - Dynamic; shorter presses result in small jumps, longer presses result in higher jumps. Holding Jump after being sprung into the air by objects in the environment result in a higher ascension.
HANDS FREE | CLIMBING - Allows you to climb certain ledges and objects when moving forward and jumping toward them. Allows you to interact with levers and ladders using the interact button.

TORCH - Offers Illumination at the expense of spirit - prevents you from climbing and interacting with levers. (Useful for descending quickly when you don't want to perform climbs accidently)
SUPER JUMP - A short press of crouch followed immediately by Holding Jump will perform a Super Jump at the expense of your spirit. Requires High Spirit

ROLL - Double Tapping Crouch will perform a Roll at the expense of stamina. Rolling can be used to avoid certain traps and obstacles.

FALL SHIELD - Double Tapping Crouch while Falling will perform a fall shield at the expense of your spirit. Requires High Spirit

WEAPONS - Used for special interactions with destructible objects and puzzle elements
NOTE You can select between 5 different skin tones in at the bottom of the settings menu.
User Interface
The UI or heads up display tracks critical information about your session - You can set custom keyboard or gamepad binds to call the UI in the "in game" settings menu

The UI will automatically display to show critical changes to the following stats; YELLOW - Time RED - Health GREEN - Stamina BLUE - Spirit ORANGE - Karma
Hidden Scrolls
Hidden scrolls contain wisdom essential for your Ascension. When you look in their direction they will glow, as long as they're glowing you're able to interact to unseal them, as long as you remain looking in their direction they will remain on your screen, looking away from them they will close.

Unsealing Hidden Scrolls will Add 5 seconds to your trial Reading Hidden Scrolls will Add an additional 10 seconds to your trial
Micro-Spheres
Micro-Cosmic Emanations of the Luminaries that govern. Throughout the realm you will encounter ignorance and wisdom, distraction and assistance.

BLACK SPHERES - Reduce your time - continually orbiting your path as a representation of Ignorance, Reduce your time in the trials. Knowing their patterns and remaining unconcerned by their presence is the key to over coming their influence. WHITE SPHERES - Add time - scattered throughout the path, typically in places that require effort, as a representation of wisdom born from struggle, Add time in your trials. Sometimes, used as bait in Spheres governed by attributes like Greed (Mars) and Lust (Saturn).
BLUE SPHERES - "Blue Balls" fill your spirit
RED SPHERES - Increase Health
Levers
Levers are one of the means of expanding your access to the realm - they can open doors, gates and move platforms to advantageous positions. Some levers will reset after a given amount of time.

Levers can be interacted with when close enough to activate - and some levers can be activated by jumping on their handle. There will often be symbols surrounding a lever indicating what door they will open.
Fragments of Wisdom
The Wisdom Fragments are Key Fragments to expanding your access to the realm. The order in which they are retrieved can have varying effects on your Time and Karma.

(BLUE) SAPPHIRE FRAGMENTS - can be collected in any order
(GREEN) EMERALD FRAGMENTS - must be collected in the correct order or their positions will reset, reducing your Karma
(RED) SANGUINE TABLETS - must be collected in the correct order or their positions will shuffle, reducing your Karma Completing a Wisdom Fragment sequence successfully will Add 30 seconds to your trial and trigger a door or gate to open or a platform to move.
Karma

Actions you perform throughout your trials in this realm will can contribute in some way to your Karma level. When your Karma is depleted you will become bound - preventing you from Rolling, Climbing, Interacting with certain items until your Karma is restored.

Paying attention to your Karma Bar (Orange) will show you what actions reduce, and what actions increase your Karma level.

Breaking Lead Urns (Set) will reduce your Karma and your movement speed Breaking Gold Urns (Horus) will increase your Karma and your movement speed

Picking up Fragments will Increase your Karma Completing Fragment Loops will Increase your Karma Picking up Fragments out of sequence will Decrease your Karma

Reading Hidden Scrolls will increase your Karma

Deity can both help and hinder your Ascension
FOCUS your attention on Peaceful Deities (Gold) to restore your Karma. Looking toward Wrathful Deities will reduce your Karma. Lowering yourself (Crouching) before them can Increase your Karma with some deities.
